Raspberry leaf infusion has diaphoretic, antipyretic, mild astringent, anti-inflammatory, anti-toxic and hemostatic activity. It is used in cases of catarrhactic illnesses and flu, in treatment of mouth mucosa disorders, for gum strengthening, as a gargle in case of tonsilitis. Raspberry leaf influsion shows good results against laryngitis, streptococcosis and staphylococcosis.

Thanks to their richness in tannins, the leaves may be used either separately, or as a component providing astringent and obstipant effect in treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, bleeding. Thanks to its richness in vitamin P, raspberry leaf is used in vascular and cardiovascular herbal preparations.
Complex of iron compounds, folic acid and copper make this plant a crucial component for people with anemia. Raspberry leaf infusion has a normalized effect onto metabolism, improve lipolysis thus facilitating weight loss.
